SCOUTING

Scouting
Pack 140 is an adult-led unit providing a year round family program designed for boys who are in first through fifth grades, or 6 - 11 years of age. Activities emphasize family participation and cultivate a love and appreciation of the outdoors. Adult volunteer leaders include Den (small group) Leaders who work directly with the scouts and Pack Committee Members who manage the Pack. Meetings: First 3 Fridays of each month at 7:00PM in the Parish Center.
Troop 140 is a "boy-led" organization with Scouts in all positions of leadership. By
voting, they select the activities they want to enjoy each year. Boys range in age from 11
to 18 years. Adults work in the background providing guidance, act as Merit Badge
Counselors, chair fundraising activities and provide transportation. Activities include
camping trips, participation in BSA Council activities and service projects and other
activities. Meetings: Normally held each Monday evening in the Parish Center at
7:00PM. Meetings usually run 1-1/2 hours.
