With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret "Mags" Plunkett, our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend Dec. 3, 2022, at 81 years old.

Margaret was born in Dublin, Ireland Feb. 20, 1941. There, she met her husband Peter (whom she was married to for 58 years before his passing in 2021). In 1967, they immigrated to Portland, Ore. They brought two little boys with them: Aidan (Patty), Brian (Carmen), with Vincent (Carey) being born two years later. She was a proud grandmother to Hewitt, Sarah, and Will and an adoring aunt and friend.

Margaret loved to have a good time and was always up for fun, no matter the size. She dearly loved her Scotch whisky, Irish ballads, going to the beach (especially the casino), and being surrounded by her friends and family. She will be eternally loved by everyone who knew her. She was a selfless giver, tireless helper and a genuine good soul.

A service will be held on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 417 Washington Street, Oregon City, Ore. Rosary at 10:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
