Rebecca Marianne Brotzman Obituary

Rebecca Marianne Brotzman died Tuesday, September 27, 2022 unexpectedly at her home. She was 17 years old. Rebecca was born January 23, 2005 in Oregon City, Oregon to her parents Richard and Claudine Brotzman. She attended St. John the Apostle Catholic School from preschool to 8th grade, graduating Valedictorian in her class. Then, she attended high school at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, graduating in June 2022. Rebecca was a very intelligent and determined person. She worked hard for the goals she set in her life. She was a writer, lately writing beautiful songs. She loved music, from singing in the school musicals, playing piano, or teaching herself to play the ukulele. Rebecca enjoyed swimming, snowboarding, and baking, especially her chocolate chip cookies for her grandparents. Her latest hobbies were going to car shows, car meet ups, and working on her Miata she purchased, her dream car. Rebecca is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Claudine, her brothers, Anthony (Lauren) and Jacob, her nephews Briggs and Ford, her grandparents Johan and Ingrid Rhemrev and Rick and Donna Brotzman, and all her aunts and uncles. A service will be held on Friday, October 14th, rosary at 10:30am, funeral mass at 11:00am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City. The mass will be live-streamed on St. John’s YouTube and FaceBook pages. Reception to follow. Fr. Maxy D’Costa will officiate. Please try to wear lavender for Rebecca at the service.
