New Bible Study: "Lectio: Eucharist, Discovering the Mass in the Bible"

Posted 1/7/2021

The Winter/Spring Bible study will be starting soon and you are invited to be a part of it! We will be going deeper in our exploration of the Mass by digging down to its Biblical roots with Dr. Brant Pitre.

“The Lamb of God”, “The Bread of Life”, “The Body and the Blood of Christ”…these are phrases we know from the Mass, but do we understand what they mean in the greater and deeper context of Scripture and Church teaching? During this 11 week study, we’ll discover, firsthand, how Christ’s Body and Blood are an integral and wondrous part of God’s plan for our salvation.

We will continue to offer the same days and times – Sunday evenings, Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings. We will have small discussion groups in-person at SJA, Zoom discussion groups, or you may choose to do the study on your own if you have access to FORMED. Registration will be after all Masses January 9/10 and January 16/17. Online registration is also available on the SJA website. Contact Kathy Call for any questions or to register via phone.
